OutKast Inducted In The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Over the weekend, the legendary southern duo and trailblazers Big Boi and André 3000 of OutKast were officially inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! This honor is so well-deserved. OutKast has always been one of the truest trailblazers in shaping the southern rap sound within Hip-Hop. They’ve influenced so many of our favorite artists today, from Kendrick Lamar, Future to T.I., Ludacris, Tyler, The Creator, and more.

Being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a major accomplishment, symbolizing the lasting impact an artist or group has made in their industry and honoring their authenticity and creativity throughout the years. During the ceremony, a tribute performance took place, though André 3000 didn’t participate. Artists like JID, Doja Cat, Tyler, The Creator, Janelle Monáe, and Killer Mike joined Big Boi on stage to perform some of OutKast’s classic hits.

This is such a huge moment, and I’m so happy to see OutKast getting the love and recognition they deserve. Their influence on Hip-Hop from their southern style and unmatched versatility to their animation and sharp bars has been monumental. Congratulations to the greats!
